Name: Brennan Beck
Title: Regional Healthcare Director
Fundraising Goal: $6,000
Why I am a Pink Tie Guy
There are many reasons that I am supporting Susan G. Komen of Charlotte, but there are three points that I would like to emphasize. As a pharmacist, it is my responsibility to do everything I can to help people lead healthy lives. The Oath of the Pharmacist details applying knowledge, experience, and skills to the best of my ability to assure optimal drug therapy outcomes for the patients I serve. What better way to advocate for our patients lives then to represent an organization such as Susan G Komen. Secondly, I have a strong network of peers and friends that are able to help me make an impact. Lastly, as someone who has heard the words “you have cancer,” I know there is nothing that can prepare you for the emotions that you experience. If I can do my part to reduce the likelihood of someone hearing those words, then my time invested is worth it. I would appreciate your support in helping me reach my goal!
